The inception of Cable Corporation of India Ltd (CCI) aligns with the origins of electric cable manufacturing in India, with its establishment dating back to 1957. Formed through a collaboration between Indian business entities, Thackerseys and Khataus, and German firms, Siemens and F&G, CCI marked the commencement of a PVC power cable factory – pioneering the production of PVC insulated and sheathed cables and wires in the country. Presently, CCI stands as a prominent producer of an extensive spectrum of power and control cables, as well as lead materials.
